Make up for the New Year

Givenchy ss 2012 Make up

I know this is the make up for the spring summer 2012 Givenchy collection, but I don't think I'll be able to wait till summer. For me it is perfect right now, for this Festive Season... So I will head down to my local craft shop, buy some silver soft sequins, then cut them in half and glue them over and under my eyes lids with few drops of false eyelashes glue...And I will keep the rest of the make up really basic and natural, like my everyday one....Voila'.

time for giving 2011

John Lewis Christmas Advert 2011

It is that time of the year..
and I really can not wait for my kid to unwrap his presents.
He will still be very happy with only a book and some stickers, as long as is all about ROCKETS.

So here some ideas for true rockets fans...

The ultimate ROCKET, because, let's be honest, we all love and laugh when Peppa Pig is on TV

To learn during your adventure you can go around the globe

and to reach to the moon.
You can hang it on the wall and light up a lunar calendar

I know my kid would love to have a cool book to read while he is in rocket, even better if it comes with a torch and the star/constellation  map.

It is going to be a bit lonely, going around the globe all the way to the moon on a rocket without a special friend, so we'll adopt an animal with WWF; he'll have lots of cuddles.

We all need a push to help us reaching our dreams, so a trampoline will be perfect...

ESOTIC jewellery on STYLE.IT

Well I'm so grateful to be feature in Style.it as "jeweller designer of the month".
Gabrielle Marie interviewed me few days ago for her blog ETNICITTEITMODA, which is part of STYLE.IT; (she also has an amazing tumblr Ethnycities).
I had so much fun on answering her questions about anything that is etnic, in jewellery and fashion, and taking photos of my favourite clothes in my wardrobe.
You can also see few pieces of jewellery that will soon be on sale on my online bohemian bazaar.

the interview goes:

I'm originally from Milan, Italy; I moved to London 11 years ago to work in a jewellery boutique in Burlington Arcade, whilst there, I trained as a jeweller specialising in pearls from around the world, restringing themwith antique Japanese and Chinese techniques. I also attended silver smith and woodcarving courses in a bid to further expand my skills in jewellery making. Working solely with pearls, I spent over 3 years designing, making and selling jewellery for the boutique before embarking on my own collection.Since I was a child I’ve always been surrounded by arts and crafts so thedecision to make jewellery came really easy and clearly to me....READ MORE HERE
