Baguette

While I was in Milan I saw in every magazines and shops the new book of Fendi, which is dedicated to the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the iconic Baguette, if you like the first real IT BAG, launched in 1997.

I've immediately thought of mine; I remember how much I loved it and used it.

I'm not a girl who buys fashion trends, the one I got its the one I've only wanted and the reason is because it's in jeans, so I wore it all the time and I still wearing it.  

For all the ones that loved watching Sarah Jessica Parker in SATC, the news is that not only there will be a book but Mrs Silvia Venturini Fendi will re-issues 6 styles...

Milano lifestyle: aperitivo

Aperol Spritz by UPTOWN, Castellanza, VA

When I'm in Milan I like to have aperitivo al fresco with family and friends. There is always so much food on the bar counter to nibble: salad pasta or rice salad, pizza and focaccia, grilled vegetables, olives, dips and crisps. My all time favourite is Aperol Spritz, that I have only back home in Milan.

 2 parts Aperol

 3 Parts Prosecco

A Splash of soda

 And Served chilled over ice with a slice of orange

Marni 100 Chairs

 Chairs sold exclusively at Marni Boutique in via Della Spiga 50, Milano

Last April at Salone Del Mobile, one of Milan's largest furniture fairs, Marni launched a limited collection of 100 wicked chairs and few tables. These colourful beauty were handmade in San Gil by former Colombian prisoners using salvaged metal frames and PVC threads. With this furniture collection Marni helped former prison inmates to settle back into social and working life and will donate the proceeds to ICAM, which works on settling children of imprisoned mothers in safe family environment during their first year.

I've already chosen my favourite ones, they all remind me of Italian summer cafes and I'm pretty sure my grandad had a couple of "sdraio" just like those marni one but all in green.... Mmmm
